Our Lapsang Souchong loose-leaf tea is made from the Souchong leaf, a riper, larger leaf from the lower part of the tea bushes. After fermentation, these leaves are roasted on hot iron pans for a short time, and then the tea is smoked over pine woods, resulting in a deliciously smoky and warming cup.
Ingredients: smoked black tea
Brewing: Steep 1 level teaspoon per 6 oz serving of tea for 2-3 minutes. Makes approximately 15-20 cups.
