For us, the kitchen table is the epicenter of family life. Growing up, there was always a hot percolator with fresh coffee on the table to share with family and friends who stopped in to visit. Though the tables and faces have changed over the years, our passion—fueled by the feeling that you get when you are surrounded by your people—continues to inspire the journey we are still on today. In 2014, we opened our neighborhood café in Portage Park, Chicago, with a dedication to serving the freshest and highest quality coffee, tea, and food—all hand-crafted with love and care, and delivered with unparalleled guest service.
You know the one. It’s just as warm as that cup of coffee you hold in your hands. Whether surrounded by your people first thing in the morning, or in your happy place, enjoying a great book or music—that is what Perkolator is all about. Whether you’re with us in our local café or sipping from afar—know that we’re right there with you.
We’ll always tell it like it is, and that’s a promise. All of our coffee is grown sustainably, fairly traded, and freshly roasted. Did we mention we use a zero emissions roaster, too?
If you haven’t noticed already, we’re pretty obsessed with our people—from our café-goers and online-orderers to our team, our business partners, and beyond. We started out people-first, and we always will be.
There’s a reason why we do what we do. There’s something so special about bringing people together over a shared purpose. For us, that means curating the very best products and people to serve you.
Join us in our pursuit to share the highest quality coffee and tea with people everywhere as a wholesale or private label partner.
Raise funds for your school or organization by selling freshly roasted Perkolator coffee and hand-blended tea. We customize the coffee and tea bags with your own branding, and we handle all of the sales, packing up and shipping out.
We’re constantly exploring ways we can provide for our local community and schools—from opening up our café space for local artists to sell their work to fundraising opportunities and donations—all so we can continue to help our Portage Park neighborhood thrive.
