Sumatra is a fascinating origin, unique even among its fellow Indonesian coffee-growing islands and areas. Sumatran coffees have long been distinct for their earthy, savory, and herbaceous characteristics, in part contributed by the climate and the mix of varieties grown, but also due to a specific post-harvest processing style called Wet-Hulling, or locally known as Giling Basah, which imparts much of the unique qualities these coffees have. You’ll get cedar wood aromas and a bakers cocoa finish. Our Sumatran coffees are typically sourced from the Aceh region, and are roasted darker than any of our other offerings.

Disclaimer: The cut off for roasted coffee orders is Sunday at 5pm. Our coffee is roasted on Mondays, production is on Tuesdays, and deliveries and shipped orders go out Wednesday through Friday.
